Business Development

ATenergy offers a range of business development services including:

  • economics and project valuations
  • contract reviews and negotiations
  • oil and gas field evaluations
  • exploration acreage reviews
  • prospect analysis
  • risk assessment (exploration through to development projects)
  • country and regional reviews
  • country entry strategies

It is our preference to work closely with the client on all projects to ensure the project is undertaken both timely and to specification. Projects can be tailored easily to company’s own requirements and individual tasks can be integrated with an in-house team if required. In many cases, particularly in risk assessments, company input is of considerable importance in order to incorporate all available data and to clearly communicate and validate results.

New Opportunities

Through our wide network of associates and industry specialists, ATenergy conducts opportunity searches and undertakes technical and commercial project reviews. We work on a bespoke basis and consequently can access many different sources including direct and, if required, discreet enquiries with international operators as well as reviewing opportunities offered through the various commercial agencies.

Exploration opportunities are increasingly more difficult to find, certainly those with high potential value. We can assist by undertaking data and basin reviews, opportunity searches and individual acreage and prospect studies.

We undertake a wide variety of work for banks and investment organisations - from understanding basic risk elements of projects to full technical studies, risk assessments, economics and valuations.

Our wide experience working in Iraq and the Middle East is particularly useful to help understand the politics of oil, the development of the oil industry and the investment risks.
